Samjass was established, as a business name, in 1999. It was originally intended to provide turn key solutions and consulting in cutting-edge technology which was in its infancy at that time.

Towards the end of the quarter it became clear that Legacy Systems play a key role in the Financial Services industry in supporting large-scale business operations. So we targeted to help those industries by providing solutions that could maintain and modernize their legacy systems efficiently.

Our technology expertise in the legacy space includes IBM Mainframes, COBOL, PL/1, Assembler, DB2, IDMS, ADABAS, and VAX/VMS among others.

The focus was shifted in early days of 3rd quarter of 2002 and Samjass Technologies Private Ltd was registered in January, 2003. As the Business complexity in each territory grew, local companies were opened to support existing Customers and to develop business opportunities, thus accomplishing a global recognition for Samjass' solutions.
